A wonder, a blend between classicism and modernism. The Monte Carlo View does not go unnoticed since its inauguration in 2012 in the Exotic Garden area of Monaco. Designed and conceived by the architectural firm Wilmotte&associé, this 62-metre tower is a jewel in the crown. It is home to 60 luxury accommodations and offices on the first three floors. An underground parking is spread out on 6 levels. Also called Tour Teotista, the building is located on 8/28 avenue Hector Otto. It offers an unobstructed view over the Méditerranean sea but its singularity comes from its rock façade.
The façades of the Monte Carlo View have been the object of a bold design. The architects used SPP technology, a combination of mineral panel and honeycomb structure. A choice explained by Eric Kittler, architect in charge of the project for Wilmotte: "The technical solution we adopted freed us from the constraints associated with the use of stone; it was in keeping with the direction of the project, as we wanted a layout in keeping with the design of a tower and which was on the scale of the project, high enough".
Indeed, it was impossible to use solid stone on a 4500m2 surface. The architects therefore naturally turned to Stone Performance Process (SPP) technology, a process with a thin layer of stone (5mm) attached to an aluminum honeycomb panel. A first in Monaco, the result is sure to be emulated.
The Monte Carlo View has embellished Monaco and especially the Exotic Garden area. Its privileged spot, neighbor to the Villa Paloma, and its museum, in a sector a bit more faraway from the city center, is ideal for families in search of tranquility. Linked to the Fontvieille neighborhood and very close to France, the residents have the possibility to go to Nice in a few minutes or to the city center of the Principality. Finally, they find themselves near to the all of the monegasque commodities. A dreamy situation in a gorgeous tower. There are worse places to live.
